- Corporate Group Photography –
The Gallery Studios has been specializing in Corporate Event Photography for over 30 years. There is a real art in photographing a large group.
Elevate your Subject
Elevating attendees on multiple levels is crucial to achieve good results. What do I mean by “good results”? Being able to see everyone’s face! Ideally, a grand staircase would do the trick, however for any group over 25 people, most staircases in the Tampa area are not grand enough. Another option for creating levels for corporate group photos is the use of chairs and risers/staging. This option is effective with corporate groups up to 75 attendees, unless you can create a fifth and sixth level with the use of non traditional staging which Tampa hotels and resorts do not have. Renting multi-level staging from a production company is an option, but many times this route becomes too labor intensive and too expensive.
Elevate the Photographer
If you cannot elevate your subject, then elevating the photographer is another good option. Photographing a large corporate group from a 12 foot ladder, a scissor lift, or from a second, third or forth floor balcony has proven to be a very effective approach in my experience.
Elevate the Camera
In some situations, elevating the photographer can raise safety issues or the elevation available is not high enough to effectively capture 300+ attendees. This is the perfect time to enlist the use of a drone.
