Assignment Challenges

Thank you for your inquiry! Photographing an attorney on location at a law firm presents a unique set of challenges, but it's also an exciting opportunity to capture them in their professional environment. Here are some common challenges I've encountered and how I address them:

  1. Busy Environment: Law firms can be bustling places with a lot of activity. This can make it challenging to find quiet and distraction-free areas for the photoshoot. To overcome this, I usually work closely with the firm's staff to schedule the shoot during quieter times or reserve a private space where we can work without interruptions.
  2. Limited Space and Lighting: Law firms may not always have large, well-lit areas for photography. In such cases, I bring portable lighting equipment to ensure we have adequate lighting for the photoshoot. Additionally, I carefully scout the location beforehand to identify the best spots for shooting and make any necessary arrangements to optimize the space.
  3. Confidentiality Concerns: Attorneys often deal with sensitive information, so maintaining confidentiality during the photoshoot is crucial. I always respect the firm's privacy policies and obtain any necessary permissions before capturing images. I also ensure that any confidential information visible in the background is either blurred out or obscured to protect client confidentiality.
  4. Time Constraints: Attorneys are typically busy professionals with packed schedules. It's essential to be efficient with time during the photoshoot to minimize disruptions to their workday. I work closely with the attorney and their team to plan a streamlined shooting schedule, making the most of the time available while still achieving the desired results.
  5. Portraying Professionalism: Attorneys often want their photographs to convey professionalism and expertise. To achieve this, I pay close attention to posing, lighting, and composition to capture the attorney in a confident and approachable manner. I also provide guidance on wardrobe choices and facial expressions to ensure they project the desired image.

Despite these challenges, photographing attorneys on location at law firms can be incredibly rewarding. It allows me to create images that authentically reflect the attorney's personality and professional demeanor while showcasing the unique environment of their workplace.
